Actor
Anisha Kumar is an actress and filmmaker. Her recent credits include starring in the short film Kalki On The Way which was nominated for Best Short at the Niagara International Film Festival.
She directed and was the DoP of the short film, “Phobophobia”, which won the ACTRA 24 hour film challenge and was showcased in the GAFTFEST film festival in Jamaica.
Anisha honed her unique skillset and approach to storytelling through her diverse experiences in fashion, visual art, music, and working in the financial Industry. Anisha holds a CPA designation and is a self taught multi-disciplinary artist.
Her on set experience includes working as an assistant director for projects including The Man from Toronto with Kevin Hart, You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah with Adam Sandler and shows like Titans and Children Ruin Everything Season 2.
Anisha’s artwork has been showcased in exhibitions across Canada including the Propeller Gallery Exhibit in Toronto and the Raw Artist’s showcase in Montreal.
Anisha has experience working in wardrobe for film as well as designing clothes through her eponymous clothing brand. She showcased her brand’s collection at Toronto Fashion Week.
